Billing Settings
Manage your NexusCommerce subscription plan, payment methods, and invoice history.
Overview
The Billing settings page is where tenants on the cloud-hosted version of NexusCommerce manage their subscription, view usage against plan limits, update payment methods, and download invoices.

Key Concepts
Plan — Your current subscription tier. Determines feature access and usage limits.
Billing Period — Subscriptions renew monthly (or annually with a 20% discount). Usage counters reset at the start of each billing period.
Payment Method — The credit card or SEPA direct debit mandate on file for automatic renewal charges.
Invoice — A PDF record of charges for each billing period, including the base subscription fee and any usage overages.
Getting Started
Navigate to Settings > Billing.
This page is only visible to users with the Owner role. Admins and below cannot access billing settings.
Features
Current Plan
Shows your plan name, monthly price, and renewal date. Quick stats:
- Next invoice estimate (subscription + current overage)
- Days until renewal
Usage Summary
Real-time meters for all tracked usage metrics against your plan limits. For details, see the Billing documentation.
Upgrade / Downgrade
Click Change Plan to open the plan selection modal. Available plans and their limits are displayed. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Payment Methods
List of stored payment methods with the ability to:
- Add a new card (via Stripe payment element)
- Set a different card as the default
- Remove a stored payment method
Invoice History
Table of all past invoices with Download PDF links. See Billing > Invoice History for column details.
Cancellation
Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until then. Data is retained for 30 days after the subscription ends before being permanently deleted.
